Privacy policy

TEMPLATE — REVIEW BEFORE LAUNCH. This is a plain-language placeholder written by the site generator, not legal advice. Read it, fill in the REPLACE ME parts, and if in doubt have it checked — you are the data controller under GDPR.

Last updated: REPLACE ME (set this when you review the policy).

Who runs this site

This site is operated by WrathEye Studios, a solo game developer based in REPLACE ME (EU). Contact for anything privacy-related: deathawaits@wratheye.com.

No accounts, no mailing list

This site has no signup forms and collects no email addresses. Launch and update news goes out through Steam (wishlist the game there and Valve emails you) — nothing to store on our side.

The demo

The demo is distributed through Steam, not from this site. Valve's privacy policy applies there — this site keeps no download records.

Analytics

We use a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics service (Plausible — REPLACE ME if you chose differently). It counts page views and events (like clicks on the wishlist button) without cookies, without cross-site tracking, and without storing personal data. That's why there is no cookie banner: there are no cookies to consent to.

Donations

The Support page links out to Ko-fi. Donations happen entirely on Ko-fi's site under Ko-fi's own privacy policy — this site takes no payment data and keeps no payment records at all.

Third parties

If the Steam widget is embedded on the Buy page, Valve's own privacy policy applies to that frame.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — though as described above, there is very little to hold. Email deathawaits@wratheye.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
