Environmental horror
The countryside itself is the antagonist: fog with intent, roads that loop, a village that rearranges itself when the camera drops frames. Horror built from place, not spawn triggers.
WRATHEYE STUDIOS PRESENTS · BODYCAM FOOTAGE · CASE 07-A
Officer Adrian Mahalean is sent to investigate a death in a village that isn't on any map.
The bodycam keeps recording long after he wants it to stop.
EVIDENCE LOG · 01
Still Here is a bodycam-style psychological horror game. You are Adrian Mahalean, a Romanian police officer dispatched to a routine call in the countryside — forests that swallow the road, an abandoned village, a cemetery nobody maintains anymore.
Everything is recorded. The camera on your chest never stops running. And the longer you investigate, the harder it becomes to ignore what the footage keeps almost showing you: the case you're working may be your own.
No jump-scare conveyor belt. Dread, denial, and quiet wrongness — found-footage horror that trusts you to notice what's wrong with the frame.

Battery, signal, and the REC light are gameplay. What the lens catches and what your eyes insist on are not always the same footage.

Rooted in real Eastern European burial customs and superstitions — the rituals for keeping the dead in the ground, and what it means when they're left undone.

ACQUISITION
The Steam page isn't public yet. The moment it is, this page becomes a one-click wishlist — the announcement will land right here first.
Wishlists don't cost anything and you get an automatic email from Steam at launch. For the algorithm, a wishlist is worth more than a demo download — if you do one thing, do this one.
Want to fuel development beyond the price of the game? There's a support section for that.
CASE NOTES
Development notes from the field. Progress, problems, and the occasional thing that shouldn't have been in the build.

PERSONNEL FILE
WrathEye Studios is one person, an unhealthy relationship with Unreal Engine 5, and a conviction that the scariest thing a camera can do is keep recording.
Still Here is the studio's first title: a bodycam psychological horror game set in the rural Romania of half-remembered childhood summers — the kind of place where the church bell rings for someone every week and nobody asks who.
Solo development means everything on this site — code, art direction, design, the words you're reading — comes from one desk. It also means every wishlist, demo download and shared link genuinely moves the needle.

Still Here is a bodycam-style psychological horror game. Players take the role of Adrian Mahalean, a Romanian police officer whose routine callout into the countryside becomes an investigation he cannot close — and cannot walk away from. Rendered entirely through the officer's body camera, the game trades jump-scare volume for sustained dread: fog-bound forests, an abandoned village, a cemetery, and footage that is never quite wrong enough to stop watching.
Still Here is developed by a single person under the name WrathEye Studios. The project grew out of a fascination with found-footage horror (Marble Hornets more than modern jump-scare fare) and the folklore of the Romanian countryside. REPLACE ME: add when you started, engine milestones, festival showings, etc.
SUPPLY LINE
Still Here is built by one person. The single most valuable thing you can do costs nothing: wishlist the game on Steam. Playing the demo and telling a friend is a close second.
If you want to go further, donations directly fund development — software licenses, asset tools, and the time to keep building this game and the ones after it. Entirely optional, deeply appreciated.
Wishlist on Steam — Steam emails you at launch and for major updates automatically. No separate mailing list, no inbox clutter from us.
